Silk substitute: Silk screen printing.
Hello lovely animal luvin people, here's a little puzzle for you.
I am in charge of finding some craft supplies for my university's women's and queer collectives and I am trying to track down some non-silk screens for printing patches and t-shirts with slogans and what not.
I am having great difficulty finding such things, and need some advice, links or whatever you can find/already know about this. Search terms such as "silk screen supplies" and "non-silk screen supplies" don't seem to lead anywhere helpful. Do you know of an online store which stocks non-silk screens? If I have to order from US or other overseas location, I can, but I would prefer to buy from within Australia.
I have a budget of around $300 Australian Dollars to spend though I think it should be possible to get some for cheaper than that.
