I needed a solution to the babe bonking his head on our fireplace. I saw this solution in a parenting magazine. I was so irritated when all the other babyproofing sets for a fireplace were $50+. Since someone else asked and you guys were so helpful...what is your suggestion for my kitchen doorway. Its got a bar and then a wall, but the bar and wall don't line up. Transported...
Well, my life has been officially transported to Houston. They packed the house last monday and tuesday and Noah and I flew down here on Weds. David and my brother had the lovely task of driving our cars down here and made it in one piece. Whenever anyone asks (usually my mom) I say I like it but I'm not sure yet. I've been following Matt and Suzie Sams' story for several days now. They are missionaries in New Zealand (originally from the states) and had a baby boy on Jan 7th. He had an encephalocele which is a neural tube defect that causes the skull to seal at around 20 weeks and the brain is formed into a sac on the back of the head. Doctors told them ( Read more... )
