Prayer needed...
I've been following Matt and Suzie Sams' story for several days now. They are missionaries in New Zealand (originally from the states) and had a baby boy on Jan 7th. He had an encephalocele which is a neural tube defect that causes the skull to seal at around 20 weeks and the brain is formed into a sac on the back of the head. Doctors told them the baby would die shortly after birth. Today was his 68th day of life and most likely his last. His encephalocele burst while changing the bandages, meaning all the CSF leaked out. She posted that he had several seizures but was still with them 6 hours later. He will be going home to his father soon..please pray for the family. And go see them here if you would like:
