I only got to like, a row and a half of knitting yesterday /o\   But hey, better than nothing :)

*made 2 more lace charts

* Since the last post, I finished the body lineart of the guy I drew the face for in yesterday's post.  One more character to go, then it's cleaning it up and adding umpteen million texture and shading layers :-P

So, some of my flisters have done the 30 days of creativity thing before, so I thought I'd join in this month, since OMG SO MUCH TO DO /o\  I did the lineart for a character's face on one of my BB illos, but I can't share that...  I also did 2 rows on the shawl, so here's the update from last week and this week :)

Okay, just saw a preview for Bad Teacher... that movie with Cameron Diaz as an absolutely HORRIBLE teacher...

It made me sick to my stomach.

And we wonder why our education system is so flipping effed up?   When THIS is our media portrayal of education?  It doesn't help matters.  At ALL.   

So, yeah, I have my weekly update thinghy on the shawl...no hat, because I didn't pick it up once-- my mindless keep-my-hands-busy project *this* week was winding the skeins of yarn for the shawl into balls because:
1) it's easier to pull up more when knitting   and

So, went to the Sick Puppies show on Friday.

Long story short?  Sick Puppies were flipping AWESOME and I'm a new fangirl of Madam Adam--They rock, check them out.  Now.  Right Now.  WHY AREN'T YOU GONE YET?

1) I finished my taxes and they are safely e-filed.  I caved and paid turbotax for my state returns, but eh.  Looking at all the forms I'd have to fill out for the lived-in-two-states-thing, it was worth it.  It's not like I'll have to do it again next year *crosses fingers*
