Where does the time go?
So, yeah, I have my weekly update thinghy on the shawl...no hat, because I didn't pick it up once-- my mindless keep-my-hands-busy project *this* week was winding the skeins of yarn for the shawl into balls because:
1) it's easier to pull up more when knitting and
2) I found a knot in one of the skeins, which is not cool, and so I want to go through them before I use them because I'm not putting in all this effort only to have a knot in the middle of a row >:( And for how much I paid for this yarn, there should be no knots where they've had to rejoin the thread, dagnabit!
Progress not so evident in the wide shot, but the closeup of the pattern you can tell I added quite a bit. I'm on the second chart \o/
Now off to the gym, then I have to decide what I want to work on.... There's the thing that's due Saturday, the thing I told myself I'd have done by this weekend, or the Surprise!Gwaine drawing I didn't know I was going to do 'til Monday... or the shawl... decisions, decisions.
