movie opinion (I try not to have spoilers this time)
Saw Southland Tales tonight. It was a trip. I think I enjoyed it, although I have to say at the end it became ridiculously over the top in a sci-fi blasts right out of the realm of possibility sort of way. There was a lot of religiousness that I'm not yet sure how I feel about, and at times it got a little ranty-jesus-freak-at-Park St. preachy, ( Read more... ) -
Finally, a day off!
Jim and I got back from San Fransisco last Monday morning. I had hoped to sleep on the red-eye flight, but instead we watched movies on Circe. As a result, I pretty much just passed out when we got home on Monday. And it was off to work on Tuesday, my sleep schedule completely screwed up.

A confluence of circumstance led me to try Shop & Shop's grocery delivery service, Peapod. While I don't like grocery shopping, I initially liked the idea of doing it online even less, because it lacks the spontaneity of regular grocery shopping. I just got home from dinner, and spent the walk home ranting to Jim about both mundane and existential matters. The mundane wind up being largely financial, of course. Who doesn't worry about money?
