No significant progress to report.

I cleaned up the debris pretty good, and I took down the platform. That pretty much sums it up.

Did a bunch of research on insulation today. Spray foam seems like the good stuff, but it's pretty pricey. Also pulled down the drywall off the ceiling in the closet today, and pulled off some more drywall on the back wall of the theater room. Today I removed the trim around the base of the theater room closet, and the wall the closet is in. Then I also removed all the drywall from the inside of the closet, and the wall that the closet is in. It's currently in a huge industrial pile in the middle of the floor. Lots of new plans in place. Turning the things sideways. Only extending in 1 direction with the new turn sideways plan. Don't have to shore up joists anymore, but do have to deal with beam in the way. Don't have to make a window disappear though, so that part is generally good ( Read more... )

The concert was awesome. They put on an incredibly long and good show. It started at 8, and we just got back a little after 3am.

Also: My wife is fucking metal.
