Have a few kinks to work out still. The MIDI data I'm getting isn't exactly accurate because MIDI runs at 31250 baud, and the closest I can get with the BasicX chip is about 30700 or so with the 7.3mhz crystal it's running with. I really like the smoother feel of the new Rock Band guitar. The strumming feels less precise, which I don't like, but the fret buttons are way easier to press and silky feeling. I like that a lot ( Read more... )

Picked up Guitar Hero 2 for the 360 today. That means I don't need or want the PS2 version anymore. If you or anyone you know would be interested in it, I'm looking for $100 for Guitar Hero 1 & 2, and 2 Guitars + 2 cable extensions. If I don't get anything on here in a day or so, I'll put them on craigslist.
