Life Lately
Lots going on...
- still haven't recovered the motivation to finish the living room after pushing everything into the corner to have the river float at the beginning of July. Getting close though.
- Rebuilt my brakes entirely. Rebuilt calipers all around with new seals from Toyota, stainless brake lines, high-performance pads, new rotors, & a full flush and refill with Motul RBF 600 fluid. They are working great but I still need to install a new emergency brake cable on the drivers side. That will be this weekend.
- Almost bought a new car, didn't. It was another MR2 that was much more modified, but done in the same way I want to do Mithril eventually. The body & paint was in much worse condition than advertised though, and then it was sold while we were still considering if we wanted it. That was probably for the best.
- Bought a Mac Mini for the family room computer. Wanted something small that we could hide behind the plasma on the wall, and PC hardware of a similar size and power is hundreds more. Somewhat ridiculous, but whatever. I'll be wiping it and installing Windows on it as soon as it gets here of course. :)
- Bioshock comes out on the 21st. I'll probably surface sometime around the 26th.
