Dude, this guy is awesome. ;)
Have a few kinks to work out still. The MIDI data I'm getting isn't exactly accurate because MIDI runs at 31250 baud, and the closest I can get with the BasicX chip is about 30700 or so with the 7.3mhz crystal it's running with. I'm waiting on a couple standalone UART samples that should be here this week to handle the MIDI signals at the correct baud. I also need to mess with the roland brain a little and adjust the sensitivity on a couple of the pads.
Overall, not too shabby for a weeks work. :)
