Yeah, it should be fun. It came up out of the blue.
Shannon has to book time off 4 months in advance since they book patients 3 months in advance, so she had taken the time off back around Thanksgiving. March 21st is our anniversary, so she figured we'd want to do something that weekend.
Then we found out Nate is going to Japan for a month and a half then, so it seemed right to jump on board.
Awesome. I will do my best to be at Shannon's feet when she starts telling the stories. I learned about her storytelling super power when you guys bought the house. I still have the house from her stories and the house I've actually visited as two separate, equally real, equally wonderful memories.
So, I saw Shannon mention it briefly, but failed to ask - whats with the trip to Tokyo? Strictly vacation, or is this prompted by something professional?
