Leo is dying
Fifthteen years old, and he has been with us since he was ten months. Leo sounds like he did when he was a puppy, whimpering. He's walking around the house, trying to squeeze his head into corners of the rooms and crawling under furniture. Last night, while I wasn't home, everyone thought it was the end. I forgot to write about some more good news.
Mum has been volunteering at the Citizen Advice Bureau since August '08, as a means of getting herself used to working again. She's been suffering from M.E. for the past 4 years, which caused her to leave her admin job at the hospital. She has struggled to pay bills, but I've been there to help out ( Read more... ) -

Restaurant plans are off for Friday. Matthew came up with the idea of canapés and cocktails (Mojitos) at his place, as a pre-Pride Climax soiree. He sent out a group message through Facebook this morning, so it's all set! -
good news
Today, I was asked into the office of one of the company directors. I had no idea what it was about.
Turns out they are pleased with my work again, and they think I have to deal with a lot from customers, so I've been given a pay-rise.
Yay me! -

As well as going to work, I'm pretty busy this week.

I've been painting my bedroom. And that's just the new plaster paint / undercoat. Next I have to paint it the actual colour (cream).

I need to get out of the mind-set of choosing gay friends by whether I'd fancy dating them. It isn't good, and it can't be healthy.
