Today, I was asked into the office of one of the company directors. I had no idea what it was about.

Turns out they are pleased with my work again, and they think I have to deal with a lot from customers, so I've been given a pay-rise.

Yay me!

This week has been stressful at work. I've been so busy I haven't felt like I've had time for lunch, therefore I think I've only eaten lunch twice this week. And that is ridiculous. From now on, I don't care how busy I am - I am stopping for my 30 minutes lunch break ( Read more... )

We've been doing well recently, so we were paid a bonus today. A £500 bonus... but, after tax, I only take home £312 of it. Poo!

We're told there may be more throughout the year. I just can't see them throwing money around like that, though.

I have tomorrow and Monday off work. I wouldn't be surprised if I get a phone call tomorrow asking me to go into work as there may only be one person in the office. Rule of Two finally arrived yesterday. I began reading the prologue last night, in bed, and quickly grew sleepy so I put it down and went to sleep.
