Bombshell... my sister is moving to Atlanta. They decided about a week or so ago and she and the whole family pick up and go Dec 26th. Whew. On the good side, this has kept my mom busy -- helping with their house (they hope to sell it at an upcoming open house) and taking care of the kids. Oh... I forgot to say. Oooops! :)
Her husband got a job offer (she's still looking). Apparently its a good opportunity for him. Here's hoping. He tends to make some pretty dumbass decisions, so I'm skeptical. The timing couldn't have been much worse, but, I guess it is what it is. :/

Are you doing okay? I heard there's lots of flooding in your state...

I know... its all be VERY compressed. WHY they can't wait even one day after Xmas is beyond us all (or til the house sells, or til my sister also gets a job, or til the school year ends for my nephew... etc.).

My mom's a little freaked out by the "Xmas one day, moving the next" schedule since she's going along for the ride. Literally. That's quite a haul with three kids, two of them under 5. :P And to try to do it all in one day?? :P I suppose I could have hitched a ride back with them since they are going my way, but,... NAWH! ;>

Glad to hear that you're not getting flooded. That'd suck.

I'm arriving Dec 22nd and leaving the night of the 25th. (I needed to leave early cause my sister and mom are driving to Atlanta the 26th.)

If its possible, let's try to get together! :) You could come over my mom's, I could visit you, or we could meet somewhere. (Need to do any Xmas shopping? I still need something else for my mom. yikes!)
