Kiwi's seizures are becoming more frequent. :( She had them the last two evenings in a row. I'm very worried about her, though when she's not actually seizing she's normal, perky, sassy, etc. She still pushes the other LBs around when she wants, especially Aussie but even Blue. After I put Kiwi to bed for the night she fell and was squeaking a lot. She was very unhappy and in pain. :( Brought her out to sit with me but she flew and had a hard time perching. Kiwi had another foot thing/seisure just now. It lasted only a few minutes (approx 5 min) and then she was fine again. She even went back to playing with Blue and Aussie afterwards -- she didn't just sit with me.

We went away for this VERY NICE weekend... the destination in mind wasn't where we ended up, but, it all turned out pretty nicely. Went to VA, near a potential site for work. We didn't quite understand how SWEET it could be though! Sounds like the work situation is quiite similar and the cost of living is slightly less expensive and yet... most of ( Read more... )

Bombshell... my sister is moving to Atlanta. They decided about a week or so ago and she and the whole family pick up and go Dec 26th. Whew. On the good side, this has kept my mom busy -- helping with their house (they hope to sell it at an upcoming open house) and taking care of the kids. Kiwi had another seisure (whatever they are) again. It was her L side and lasted approx 20 min before she was back to 90% normal. She was definately acting very strangely in the half hour leading up to it -- flighty, jumping around, etc.

Kiwi had a mini-seizure today. Not as drastic as some of the others in the last year, but, still. She didn't seem in pain this time and it passed more quickly than others. So, milder also. Still, I'm bummed out about that. I'd hoped that she was getting better. She seems to have gained a little weight, is eating like a maniac, is feisty and playful ( Read more... )
