Got a little more info about M's heart surgery -- sounds like everything went well. One of the arteries was 99% blocked, but the rest weren't as bad. It is a really good thing that SS' mom is a nurse -- when M started having odd feelings in his chest/slight chest pains over this past weekend and then into the week, she didn't hesitate about packing ( Read more... )

SS' dad is having a quadruple bypass today. :/ He went in for the surgery around 1pm-ish, but I haven't heard yet about the results. Hoping all is well.

So, I'm stiiiiilllll doing the dreaded work from a few days ago -- it is ENDLESS. I am seriously thinking about doing dishes (I hate doing dishes), cause that sounds like more fun. Nothing new, but no news is good news, right? Been working a lot, which is good. Things with my "cad" of a client are all wrapped up. I think it went well and that we should be okay. Well, I was sick for a full 10-12+ days... Ugh. Hated it. Once the massive headache kicked in, I was useless and just staring at the walls wasn't fun, that's for sure. :P Thankfully that's over! Sunday we went snowboarding! First session of this weird late-winter season. The conditions were pretty good, but, I am now crippled. My muscles and joints didn't enjoy it much and I'm feelin' it.
