Bombshell... my sister is moving to Atlanta. They decided about a week or so ago and she and the whole family pick up and go Dec 26th. Whew. On the good side, this has kept my mom busy -- helping with their house (they hope to sell it at an upcoming open house) and taking care of the kids. I'm not *surprised* that somehow Shanzer got his birthday to fall on The Most Evil Day of the Year. But, I'm impressed. It takes a LOT to whip the federal government into shape, even if you do have an Evil Will of Iron. They are slackers, in the worst way. Bravo! (In other words, Happy Birthday!)
hee hee hee... for Valentine's Day SS got me a sweet card, an icecream cake and a copy of the Weekly World News (it says "Buy this issue for your honey" and he couldn't resist a ploy like that! ;). We've since been having great fun thinking up stories we'd write for it.
This is what I'm going to make for Thanksgiving dinner dessert since someone else made the pumpkin pie this year. I'm sort of relieved... I don't feel like making pie crust right now.
