Ville's POV

I paced the length of Bam's hotel room. I was fully dressed this time incase Jyrki needed my help.

Bam was sitting up on the bed watching me. "So Jyrki is the one that changed you?"

I nodded. I had just told him Jyrki's story.

"Ville, come sit down and relax," Bam said.

"I can't, I'm worried about Jyrki," I replied.

"Of course you are, you've known him forever but worrying won’t help. Come here."

I sighed. He was right. I stopped my pacing and crawled over the bed to him.

He pulled me into his lap and kissed me. "I'm sure he'll be fine and maybe he won't be so grouchy towards humans when he gets back."

I just nodded and relaxed as much as I could at the moment into him. I rested my head on his shoulder. "I love you."

"I'm going to tell Jess," Bam said.

"Why?"

"He'll be suspicious anyway so I'd rather tell him then have him find out on his own. He might hate me if he found out that way," Bam replied.

I nodded. "I know what you mean."

There was a knock on the door.

"What?" Bam asked.

"Can I come in?" It was Timo-Timo.

"Yeah," I replied.

Timo-Timo slipped into the room shutting and locking the door behind himself.

"I take it, it's important," I said.

He nodded. "Jussi doesn’t know that Jyrki has gone off to fight Jonathan. In fact I am the only one that does know."

"I was talking to him before he left about it." I hadn’t moved away from Bam.

"He told me while he was talking to you. Ville I can't sense him we have to go find him." He suddenly dropped his normal calm exposure for that of a worried one.

I jumped to my feet instantly. "Should we get the others?"

Timo shook his head. "No, I don't want to worry them."

"Guys, guys, what if you are just having an off day Timo? He could be completely fine," Bam said.

"I've never not been able to sense him. I was keeping an eye on him just now when suddenly I just stopped sensing him. Either he's...We have to find him Ville, just you and I." Timo couldn’t stand still he was so nervous; he was pacing and wringing his hands.

I leaned over the bed and pulled Bam into a strong passionate kiss. "I'll be back as soon as possible."

He frowned. "Be careful."

"I will." I kissed him again.

"I love you."

I smiled and walked over to Timo-Timo. "Love you too Bammie."

Timo grabbed onto my arm and willed us to Pennsylvania.

"Can you sense him?" I asked quietly.

"Just barely," Timo replied closing his eyes. I could tell he was trying to see where Jyrki was. He opened his eyes and I could see images flashing over them. He hadn’t ever opened his eyes doing this before. At least not in front of me.

I followed him as he began walking as if he was in a trance.

We stopped in a deserted park.

Timo-Timo blinked and the images were gone. "They're here," he whispered.

The two of us stealthily crept up the hill before us.

Jyrki and Jonathan were locked in the middle of a heated battle below. Dagger clashed against dagger and sometimes flesh as the two vampires' fought against each other with the strength of their powerful minds.

You see a lot of fighting between vampires has to do with mental power. The mental power of a vampire could kill a human easily but only cause another vampire pain.

Timo-Timo took off running to help Jyrki. I tried to stop him but he was already down the hill.

"Timo wait," I shouted. Bad move.

Jyrki looked away from Jonathan for a friction of a second which gave the fiend the upped hand.

Jonathan's dagger went into Jyrki's stomach.

Jyrki cried out and fell to his knees.

Jonathan laughed a triumphant laugh. "It is finally over Jyrki, you were never stronger then I."

"T-that's where y-you are wrong," Jyrki stuttered through clenched teeth.

I could see the pain every movement he took caused him as I reached the bottom of the hill.

Jyrki used the last bit of strength he had in his injured body to shove his own blade straight into Jonathan's heart when the fiend was distracted.

Timo ran straight to Jyrki's side and pulled the passed out vampire into his lap.

I, however, ran at the fiend, Jonathan. He was struggling to pull the blade from his chest.

"Let me help you with that you fucker," I growled. I pulled the blade out of the fiend's heart and slammed it into his neck. I was too angry and worried for Jyrki's sake to pay attention to what I was doing to Jonathan. Fury ran through my veins as I repeatedly stabbed the creature.

"Ville, he's dead," Timo-Timo's voice cut through my thoughts.

I backed away dropping the knife. I was breathing hard.

"I'm taking Jyrki back. Take care of the body," Timo said quietly.

"But-" I replied. I didn’t care about Jonathan's corpse. I wanted to know if Jyrki was okay.

"Just do it, and then come find me."

I nodded and did as told after Timo-Timo had disappeared with Jyrki. I disposed of the corpse at an abandoned factory in France before willing myself to Jyrki's hotel room in Finland.

Timo was bandaging the still passed out Jyrki.

"Is he-?" I started to ask.

"He'll be fine Ville, he'll just need some time to heal," Timo replied. "Go find your boyfriend. I'll take care of things here."

I nodded and left with one final glance at Jyrki.
