A friend of mine is interested in getting a pattern laser etched into the lid of his Macbook Pro. I may well do the same thing if I can't find a suitable sticker to replace the flames from my old machine.

My phone chirped at 9:15 this morning. I'd gotten email from ebay telling me I'd won an auction for a new TiBook. Damn. I really didn't think I was going to get it. It was an "at this price how could I refuse" bid. And I got it. Woo!

Wow, Bluetooth USB dongles are $40. Now if only I had a Bluetooth device to use one with.

Watched JFK tonight. Pretty good. I'm a believer. Mostly. I think that may have been the last not-embarrasing Kevin Costner movie*.
