Mom and mapping
My stepmother was in town this weekend, and we had a nice brunch at Remedy Teas on Sunday. While we were there, one of the trucks that photos storefronts for mapping services passed by. Remind me to look for the photo in a few months.
She had some interesting career advice, which I'm going to try out. Because I'm working enough to cover my expenses and not qualify for unemployment, she suggested taking a break from job hunting. Instead of spending effort on something that's emotionally draining, I can use that time in more productive ways that will make me feel better. Not a bad idea. I'll be trying it out for a few weeks.
