I blame the dark chocolate I ate yesterday for being up most of the night, playing with bike frame geometries in a spreadsheet. Man, I forget how even the caffeine in chocolate gets to me. Last night, Friday, I had no concrete plans, and didn't follow up on any of the potentials. Instead I stayed home and read.

I saw a hummingbird this morning. It flew from a bird feeder to an adjacent tree as I passed on the way to the bus stop. It was tiny, not much larger than my thumb. We saw bugs in Utah that were nearly that big. It flew differently from other things. Faster (proportionally) that birds usually do, more direct than an insect. Closer to a fighter ( Read more... )
