I saw a hummingbird this morning. It flew from a bird feeder to an adjacent tree as I passed on the way to the bus stop. It was tiny, not much larger than my thumb. I can't find my box of screwdriver bits! I think I must have loaned them to someone because I can't find 'em anywhere. Really what I need is a tiny Torx bit, probably a 4 or 5 (6 is too big) and I'm on the verge of buying new ones because I can't find the ones I already own ( Read more... ) -
Update of things and stuff
Spent the past 2 days on a whirlwind, one night trip to Portland. My dad and brother have birthdays this weekend, so I did that as the family visit, rather than thanksgiving thursday. Nice visit. Wish I'd had a little longer with the family ( Read more... ) -

Later that night...
Since the last post I've moved the bed into the new room. Trivial logistically, but now I'm sleeping in a clean and spartan space instead of a wasteland. Also moved some of my shoes. That took care of a lot of floor space. I think the key strategy is keep taking the stuff I want from the old room, and eventually I can just scoop whatever is left ( Read more... )
