After dealing with The Magicians' awful season finale, I figured that at least Gotham's series finale couldn't be that bad. But, instead, it was boring. How did they make it so, so boring? ( spoiler )

Gotham's final season is stumbling to an end, with its final, timeskipping-ahead episode, playing next week. Gotham is finally picking up! It's sad that I figured it would have to happen after the ( spoilers )

I was looking forward to this new, shortened, final season of Gotham, thinking that the shortness would force the creators to do more meat and less filler, it being the final meant they could have more gonzo moments, and they couldn't screw No Man's Land up. What was I thinking?

Gotham had the Riddler behave like such a petulant, resentful Nice Guy to the woman he chose over Penguin that I came to feel that the Riddler's not good enough for Penguin, who deserves better. ...thanks ( Read more... )
