we've been doing solids for over a week now. and i think we are having our first allergic reaction. when we ran out of sweet potato we gave her some apple sauce. she acted like she didn't like the taste-and since i got an organic, nuthin' but smashed apples it has a very tart flavor. so we got out the avocado which she really seems to like. we ( Read more... )

due to the rain i was all day in doors. due to insomnia i was awake when the thebcman got up and i couldn't go back to sleep so i got up at 7 (ugh!) checked the radar, took a shower and did a sink full of dishes before mom called. then i got a load of laundry started and decided today would be a good day to make more cloth pads. i got three made, 2 ( Read more... )

mentally ill and guns-
it seems there is a rash of this happening, or at least making the news. first Virginia Tech and Cho who was taken in for evaluation for being suicidal and deemed a danger to himself yet he never got help.
