thankful thursday and stuff

3) those beautiful times i've sat on the swing nursing the urthling, the dappled sun light and noisy chatter of birds in an otherwise quiet neighborhood
4) unexpected phone call from anima
5) a nice time and good buys at the sidewalk sale this morning
6) catching up with blbl at the sidewalk sale
7) the phone call from anima and learning she's a momma too
8) the growing stash of EBM in the freezer

been busy with the urthling, as to be expected. she is becoming more and more human each day. smiling and making little squealing noises. she can holler up a storm if she's upset tho. thebcman's learning more and getting ready for being the only one responsible for her when i go back to work.
the parental units will be up tomorrow. mom can't wait any longer not seeing her. she's already told me she is only going to play with the baby, she isn't going to do any projects. not a problem-i may get a moment to work more on the baby blessing-no, mom will talk to me and keep me busy with something else probably.
there was something else i was going to write when i started this, but she got too hot this morning i think and has been fussy and nursing a lot all afternoon.
oh wait, thing's i've been watching. all from netflix- caught a cool thing about bill monroe, got some old cartoons that were banned or censored when they came out, and saw a thing about pop music from ireland that i can't remember what it was called. i knew thin lizzy was irish, i guess i'd been sleeping when they said bob geldof was irish. rory galliger's name rang a bell. if i get 2 seconds, i'll see about finding more of his music.
been making my way thru my utne's still. found some cuisine that i hadn't read. we liked the blackened ham recipe we found that we tried. my other reading is only parenting book or child development books. or the book that has all the nursery rhymes.
as things are settling into a pattern, and with going back to work soon, i'm going to start doing some flylady stuff. i hope to get a chance to shine my sink when mom is here. and get with doing 27 thing flings regularly. simply keeping the kitchen clean goes a long way to helping keep everything relatively clean.
well, i think that was all i wanted to note down, and i need to go pump.
oh yeah-found a store in lawrence that sells cloth diapers! can't remember the name-baby boutique or something.
