a request and update
first my request:
i know there are several beaders on my flist. i would like to commission a nursing necklace. i'm not too particular about color or anything like that. i figure i can spend about $20-$25 dollars. i think that's about the going price (some are much more expensive due to the stones used) of what i've seen on some web sites, but i'd like to support my friends :-)
week has been going by fine except that i've had insomnia several times this week. usually about 3-4 am. this morning in got my girl to sleep on my chest and i laid there listening to her breath and make those cute little noises she makes when she sleeps :-) looking forward to sleeping in this weekend. i'm glad i go to bed at 9 or 9:30 otherwise this insomnia would really be kicking my ass.
watched Waking Ned Devine. very sweet movie and funny too. recommended.
my parents will be up next weekend. do the pork exchange, play with the urthling. she's got a sam's club card so we will be going there for us to get stocked up on some things. we have been talking about getting a costco membership, but i don't know anyone who goes there to see what they think. we used to have a sam's club card, but they couldn't get their act together and kept saying we needed to renew our membership. so finally we said screw it-they are evil walmart relations as it is. but we want the savings on some of the stuff we can get there.
not much else is going on. having fun playing with the baby. wish i was rich enuf to not have to work so i could stay home and play with her (and sleep later!).
