So yesterday I visited Prep. I didn't see everyone I wanted to--I wanted to talk to Mr. Hanrahan, for example, but he was in a meeting with a student. I did, however:

Many of my friends are at Prom right now. I'm not. Do I wish I were? Not at all. (Fun statistic: 95% of the senior class is going. That's... I have no idea if that's good. Hmm.)

So, the senior luncheon today was people talking at us. I can now go to college secure in my advice to "Just do it!"  and in the meantime I'm going to have to wonder why ( Read more... )

Weekend was spent in Vermont helping paint a house. Woot.

This week: Six Flags, math comp part three, two papers for Hoover, luncheon. And then I'm done.

I need to find a(nother) job. Anybody have any suggestions?

So that's my week so far, and the general direction of my week to come. Fun!

Y'know, I had a pretty bad day at school today... among other things, I took two tests and don't really think I did well on either. But then I went home and just read through Catch-22, and wow did that cheer me up. I mean, I'm really quite late with it--I should have had it read already, but I didn't take it home on Tuesday and was, of course, sick ( Read more... )

'Kay, so that old Dollhouse trailer? Forget it. Even if it wasn't taken off of youtube, it's an obsolete version now anyway. See the new version here. It got rid of things like the shot of Buffy--which, though good, is a little disappointing; it was a fairly hilarious quarter of a second and led to fun speculation like how Faith was just Echo on a ( Read more... )

Two ants in my bathroom today. Took care of one; the other disappeared before I could. Which means it's going to jump out at me tomorrow morning. And that's more than you wanted to know about the insect life of my bathroom.

I have the weirdest standards for accepting friend requests on Facebook ever... I just friendified someone I only really talked to for about five minutes, but I'm still ignoring friend requests from people I go to school with every day. Ah well. I have my reasons and I know what they are, even if they don't make sense to anybody else...

You know all that stuff about waiting for things from Rochester? The wait is over. I got my Big Packet o' Stuff. Whee! And I can now add my Rochester ID number to my list of Long Numbers I Have Memorized, because for some reason I find it easy to memorize ID numbers and hard to memorize... just about every other kind of long number there is.
