My prior (very short) entry referred to the 24-Hour Play Festival, not to any job status. I realize it could have been interpreted that way, but oh well. My job search status has not changed since then, largely because I've been busy at the play festival.

The BPG show was pretty good. Act one was mostly variations on Swan Lake and was thus fairly boring, but act two made up for it. Three or four dances were particularly notable. Two were just really good "standard" dances, with groups of girls who obviously knew what they were doing and had choreographed these dances ( Read more... )

Two ants in my bathroom today. Took care of one; the other disappeared before I could. Which means it's going to jump out at me tomorrow morning. And that's more than you wanted to know about the insect life of my bathroom.

I have the weirdest standards for accepting friend requests on Facebook ever... I just friendified someone I only really talked to for about five minutes, but I'm still ignoring friend requests from people I go to school with every day. Ah well. I have my reasons and I know what they are, even if they don't make sense to anybody else...

You know all that stuff about waiting for things from Rochester? The wait is over. I got my Big Packet o' Stuff. Whee! And I can now add my Rochester ID number to my list of Long Numbers I Have Memorized, because for some reason I find it easy to memorize ID numbers and hard to memorize... just about every other kind of long number there is. Found my ring okay. It was with my shoes, as predicted.

I messed up two and a half times today; shame on me. I hopefully won't tomorrow. Of course.

Other than me, there were a lot of little mistakes that were easily covered; fortunately or unfortunately, there was no five-minute stall while someone completely forgot a crucial entrance--I'm leaning ( Read more... )
