Some things:
Still cat-sick. Not fun.
"It's not imaginary, I told you... [...] I play with real people..."
"Have you met them, face to face?"
"I, uh, hear them... it's good enough for the blind."
That right there is what got me hooked into The Guild, a fun little internet series about an MMORPG guild, written by and starring Felicia Day--who was Vi in season seven of Buffy, but that's besides the point. It's really quite fantastic because unlike most film projects that try to depict really serious gamers, it doesn't end up insulting them. And it's actually quite funny. There are nine episodes so far (each is, like, 3-6 minutes long, but they take about a month to make each because it's such a small production--professional quality short episodes funded pretty much completely by donations.) and the tenth is supposed to come out really soon... that'll end season one. Oh, and it's not just me who thinks it's great; it's won a variety of awards, like Best Series on youtube and from Yahoo and such.
"I know everything about you. Pretty cool, huh?"
"Yeah, no, no, not really."
It wouldn't be nearly as good if Felicia Day didn't have quite as excellent delivery of lines like that.
"No! Let's meet tomorrow! No need to delay forming a socially approved support system!"
I'm going to stop quoting now. Just watch it! www.watchtheguild.com
In other news, I've basically decided to stop printing things at home ever. I still have over 130 pages I can print at school--actually more, because the system lets you run into the negatives before going ahead and revoking your printing privileges--and I honestly don't think I could print that many in the threeish weeks left if I tried. Or, hey, I could do the pi-printing thing. But no.
One last thing. Apparently they're going to make a sequel to Donnie Darko. But by "they" I mean people completely unrelated to the first movie, except that Donnie's little sister will be the same actress. And, of course, older. Um. No, please?
