So good, so good, so good...

'Kay, so that old Dollhouse trailer? Forget it. Even if it wasn't taken off of youtube, it's an obsolete version now anyway. See the new version here. It got rid of things like the shot of Buffy--which, though good, is a little disappointing; it was a fairly hilarious quarter of a second and led to fun speculation like how Faith was just Echo on a job. Some other changed scenes. Different music. And a new logo at the end, and I'm trying to figure out if I like it.

By the way, I can now claim with the authority of personal experience that the quickest, easiest way to get a messed-up sleep schedule back to normal is to mess with it even more. Consider: on Wednesday I slept from around two in the morning to around one in the afternoon. On Thursday I slept from around two in the morning to around three in the afternoon. On Friday I slept from around three in the morning to around noon. And Saturday I slept from around six in the morning to around noon, which in the grand scheme of things is only a little later than I usually get up on Saturdays. And I'm feeling sleepy enough that if I were to go to bed right now, I bet I'd be asleep by one. Yay for fixed sleeping schedules!

(I'd like to disclaim here that my use of the words "quickest" and "easiest" in no way imply an actual superlative quality to this method's speed and ease.)

A few not-so-random observations:

I do believe tuxedo shoes get exponentially more uncomfortable the longer you wear them. I might say that this doesn't bode well for graduation, but I will very much not be wearing my shoes for over twelve hours on that occasion.

Formal wear feels remarkably less formal when it's the standard of the room.

I recognize a surprisingly large percentage of songs meant to be danced to when they're all from, like, decades ago.

Speaking of dancing, when the dance floor is big enough to fit a couple hundred kids when they're all cramped together, it's really quite fun to be one of less than fifteen people still on it.

Speaking of dancing, I was pleasantly surprised by how relatively light my punishment (in terms of coughing) was.

Playing multiple boards of bingo at the same time is both really hard and really fun, especially when the numbers are getting rattled off every two or three seconds.

Skee-ball still brings back semi-bad memories of Hershey Park and torrential rainfall. Aheh.

It is possible to share a Captain Planet moment with another Prep student even when I can't recall ever seeing him before. There's just something about our class rings...

The awesomeness of a vehicle is not directly proportionate to the aptitude of its driver.

In other news--I don't know how long it's been, but I listened to Dragostea din tei again today. That song is really annoyingly addictive. Although I found an English translation--though seeing as it never really mentioned any trees at all, I have some doubts about its accuracy.

This was all during a really random youtube wilderness trek... I find it amusing that, when I was watching Ye Olde Numa Numa video, youtube said there were nine other people watching right then. Hee!

I also found this, and found it incredibly amusing despite having no idea just who "ShadowLeggy" is. I've since done research and found that she did/does the "Resident Evil Musicals" on youtube--and, judging by the existence of such tributes, apparently has a pretty loyal following. More amusing is the fact that her site has an instrumental version of Dragostea din tei in the background on most of its pages. One of the ones that doesn't? An instrumental version of Phantom. Fantastic!
