I'm backtracking a bit. Forgive me, but the holidays were actually busier than I thought they would be. It's rather lengthy, so it's cut into parts.

There's so much to say about what happened in Indianapolis this past weekend and I am still a bit overwhelmed by it all. However, I really do want to get it all down.

Let's start at the very beginning...

Somewhat at the last minute, my friend Robbie and I decided to head to Columbus for their Pride festivities this past weekend. I packed Thursday night and then Robbie picked me up after work. After a quick shower for Robbie and such, we made our way up to Columbus.

Went to Columbus this weekend. It was alright. Nothing very spectacular to talk about really. Well, except for the new Union Station. Yes, they have closed the old location down and moved further down High Street. It's very lovely and has an outdoor patio area for dining. It's very nice. Jim and I woke up around 10:30am on Saturday. The schedule for the day was pretty light in activities, so we just decided to spend the day relaxing by the pool for a while and just resting.

The trip actually started on Thursday. Jim had been talking for a while now about a surprise for me before we got to Indy proper. He kept it a secret and refused to give me any hints.
