I'm having mixed feelings about what I've been seeing at cons lately. There are so many crafters these days making cosplay bits, cheap buttons, accessories, and random crafts with anime tie-ins that I'm starting to feel crowded out as an illustrator. In order to put the house on the market, we're working on de-cluttering. I think we were cluttered when we moved from the apartment. No wonder we're getting squeezed out of this small house! I gave Ouran Host Club another try. Now I've tried to read the manga, tried to watch the sub, and tried to watch the dub. I still don't get what the huge fanspaz draw was. I gave it a second chance, only I listened to it in Japanese. I enjoyed it so much more. It's a shame I can't multi-task when I have to read subs, but the English voice cast was just mediocre at best. Some of them were downright annoying and overspazzy.
