This morning I took "J" to her gardening volunteer group. While she started, she sent me to Staples to print some materials, but the instructions were unclear so I didn't print everything she wanted. Oops.

A few months ago, I bought Humble Bundle of 21 works by John Scalzi. Last night, I decided to download them and install them on our Kindle, in anticipation of travel.
The books are in .epub format, which is supported by Kindle. But they're not from the Amazon store, so I couldn't use the automatic installation process.

I just got a new phone, and it's mostly set up. I'm posting from it now.

I did a little work on the same art and writing project as yesterday, but I wasn't as productive because I was having allergy problems for half the day.
I also set up a new router (this kind, not this kind), but it doesn't seem to make things much better. I probably needed a new fiber adapter more than I needed a new router.

There was no real snow on Christmas day, but it's a very white Boxing Day. I'm not sure whether we would have gone out today in any case, but with all the snow we definitely stayed in. It's nice.
My main project for the day is the new edition of the graphic design project, moving slowly due to interruptions. "J" is working on a different graphic ( Read more... )

This morning, "J" and I planned to get going early and have a busy day. However, we took our time on breakfast, and we both got caught up in various distractions, including my writing project and a writing project of hers. So much for a productive morning.

We started our travel day when the car service guy arrived. He was from Bulgaria, and professional and friendly.

I did a lot of writing today on my current writing project. I'm not sure how good, but I managed to crank out quite a lot of it.
In the evening, I watched a Nova episode about the Joint Strike Fighter competition with "J" and "T". It was interesting stuff for all of us.
