In flight to Hawaii, about 9:30 am Pacific Time, initially drafted on paper
We started our travel day when the car service guy arrived. He was from Bulgaria, and professional and friendly.
At the airport, Seattle TSA was great, as usual. I know TSA can be pretty unpleasant, but it's always good in Seattle, or at least that's our white privilege experience.
On the way from security to the gate, I discovered that my phone was missing. I thought that J had packed all the personal electronics in the carry-on bag, and she thought I had it. Oops!
That wasn't the end of our gadget issues. When we were on the plane, J discovered that she didn't have her charging cable - but she did have two or three cables for my phone. Oops again!
We texted "
A", who has a key, to ask her to visit the house and overnight the missing stuff. No reply yet.
On the way to the gate, we saw my parents. They're on the same flight, but different seats.
