It's Valentine's Day! Two of my students at School B today were kind enough to give me handmade treats. Mako made the chocolate pigs (white chocolate and melon-flavored chocolate), and Momoyo made the brownies. Both were FANTASTIC! I love my students. ;_;

Wednesday night was hell on earth. I woke up at 2 in the morning with a super painful sore throat. I did a salt water gargle to (somewhat) alleviate the pain and then went back to bed. Couldn't sleep.

Laid down on my Shakti Mat with eye pillow and did deep breathing to try and will myself to sleep. Couldn't sleep.

The closer the tournament gets the more nervous I get. I'm the only girl from any Shinkyokushin dojo in Yokohama fighting, and also the only non-Japanese person. I feel a lot of pressure there, I don't want to let everyone down.
