Romeo is an incredibly thoughtful dog. He knows when I'm in the early stages of my period so he makes sure to spend extra time cuddling with me. So, it's 13 days since I've been off the pill. I imagine some of the effects I'm feeling are probably comparable to someone going off anti-depressants after being on them for awhile. I was on the pill just over 8 years (with dosages increasing about 4 times) so that's a lot of artificial hormones for my body to adjust to no longer taking in. ( Read more... )

I can't say often enough how I wish they would have put in a few sutures instead of me having to rely on mere tape to hold my incision together in my belly button.
