I Imagine The Things We'd Do...

I keep getting Scorpions' songs stuck in my head lately. Mind you, they're also playing them quite a bit on the radio lately. What's with that? Are they coming to Winnipeg or something?

Today was my first day back to the gym since my surgery. I ran into my former trainer and she asked how I was as she noticed I hadn't been there for sometime. She reminded me to take it easy and not rush things, haha. I only did 45 mins of cardio (no weights for awhile longer) and that was more than enough...or maybe I shouldn't have done 25 mins on the low sitting cycling unit. After awhile, I started getting that pinching feeling in the surgical area so I should have stopped then, took a break, and moved on to something else...but I pushed through a little longer then did the elliptical and some stairs (those 2 didn't cause me any discomfort). It's amazing how it doesn't take long at all to get out of shape and all your hard work melts away.

No gym tomorrow as I have to drop Thundercracker off at Boyd to get the lock/door fixed. :( Fucking Winnipeg criminals. They'll likely have him for a few days which bums me out as I'm really not looking forward to driving a courtesy vehicle. I don't like driving vehicles that aren't Starscream or Thundercracker. Just way too unfamiliar since I basically relearned to drive with them. Ah well. I'll do a yoga session in the morning before heading to the auto shop.

I'm still a bit bloated from my surgery which I was hoping would be gone by now. Some lower back pain off and on, but I haven't had a massage in over a month so I've put a call out to get a session next week (hopefully).

I've downloaded some classical East Indian flute music. Very relaxing. This would be great for meditation and to fall asleep to.
