After reviewing Clara's chart and noticing her stabilization over night, I page Dr. Bohland to the NICU nurses' station. I've tried to avoid her as much as possible since the George fiasco. The ER is ridiculously slow and the only thing keeping me going is a chest painer. I've run all of the tests, I'm getting an echo ordered and I've got it all neatly stacked for Dr. Burke to come and whisk the patient away from an emergent CABG.

I left George's house before he even woke up. I don't know what it is lately but I just get irritated with him. I need space and I don't have space. Maybe it's PMS. Like permanent PMS. Maybe I need to just take a small break from him without taking a break from him.
