Heartless
The ER is ridiculously slow and the only thing keeping me going is a chest painer. I've run all of the tests, I'm getting an echo ordered and I've got it all neatly stacked for Dr. Burke to come and whisk the patient away from an emergent CABG.
Hopefully one I can scrub in on. It would take hours. It would be more time that I can avoid George.
I put in the page and pace by the patient, waiting for Dr. Burke or Yang or one of the cardiofreaks to show up. There's no better hiding place than the OR.
