So, I fell asleep on accident today (damn you, comfy couch!) for about an hour, from 6:45 to 7:45. So now it's time for bed and I am Soooooo AWAKE. Not good.

* I got a new roommate! She doesn't move in until November, which has it's pros and cons. I *can* afford to pay two months rent by myself, but it stinks, and I've dipped pretty deep into my savings. I just got back from having lunch with a coworker. We've had a weird relationship (on my end) in that we started hanging out, she seemed ok, and then got increasingly more annoying, condescending, and outright nasty the more we hung out. This evening I was walking to the Metro. For the past few days, there's been various displays by the escalators of pictures/prints of Obama. I was eying them this evening - they all had various phrases on them, and I was trying to read them all. The face reflects how I felt almost all day today. I am not going to go into specifics of why my day sucked. Instead, I'll focus on the bright side - I used to have sucky days like this all the time at the paper; this was only the second time since starting I've had a truly bad day.
