* I got a new roommate! She doesn't move in until November, which has it's pros and cons. I *can* afford to pay two months rent by myself, but it stinks, and I've dipped pretty deep into my savings. This evening I was walking to the Metro. For the past few days, there's been various displays by the escalators of pictures/prints of Obama. I was eying them this evening - they all had various phrases on them, and I was trying to read them all. No, contrary to the title of this post, I am NOT having a Monday. It's been a good day. Very busy, but good. We finally got a panel approved that should have been approved a month ago, so there's been lots of scrambling around to get stuff done that should have been done a month ago, but couldn't be, because of the aforementioned non-approval.
