Forgot to mention that I'm again stepping up the daily workouts (mostly cardio 30-40 minutes with some resistance training). I'm diabetic; this is not optional. The last two weeks haven't been perfect in my health regimen, but greatly improved as compared to the last 6-8 weeks. Since it takes awhile to see results when you're as far gone as I am, it's really important to find other ways to measure success so there's something tangible to stay motivated-or avoid depression! Even with the traumas, I made strides last week-literally! After almsot 6 weeks of physical inactivity (except for some sporadic mattress thrashing with Junior), I worked out three days last week! OK, I'm sure part of my workout apathy is sheer boredom with the tapes I own. Any suggestions? I'm looking for emphasis on cardio, preferably 20-40 minutes in length. Toning is good too, of course, but my doctor is emphasizing the heart rate. I've currently got a Jane Fonda from the late 80s and Tae-Bo.
