Apparently, a glass of wine a day helps cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. Dangit! Why didn't I see this 6 weeks ago?!?!?

I wonder if the benefits are retroactive. Hmmmmm...

Well, not really... but closer! Even though I haven't worked out a single day this week, my fever-induced reduced appetite kept me from certain doom.

-2.5 lbs. this week!

Hate how it happened but at least it's one positive thing gained from an otherwise miserable experience. Heh.

Forgot to mention that I'm again stepping up the daily workouts (mostly cardio 30-40 minutes with some resistance training). I'm diabetic; this is not optional. Even wrote myself a note saying, "5 days a week. Of course you don't like it. Had an OK weekend, overall. Spent midday with the mocha-rrific DanceWench, then headed to Mousie's for notes on our shooting strategy for the weekend. I'm not as nervous as I would have thought, but perhaps that's because I can focus on this as a production when I start to freak. The last two weeks haven't been perfect in my health regimen, but greatly improved as compared to the last 6-8 weeks. Since it takes awhile to see results when you're as far gone as I am, it's really important to find other ways to measure success so there's something tangible to stay motivated-or avoid depression! Even with the traumas, I made strides last week-literally! After almsot 6 weeks of physical inactivity (except for some sporadic mattress thrashing with Junior), I worked out three days last week!
