Weekend Fare
Since my folks live 90 minutes away, it makes getting together during faire season nigh impossible. To make it up to them, I spend Father's Day weekend-which also happens to coincide with Mom's birthday-and treat them to a meal of their choice. Dad gets dinner, Mom gets brunch ( Read more... ) -

Bailed on the SAPA picnic to spend some family time. June is a busy month for both arbiter_of_cool and me-Father's Day is right around the same time as my mom's & his dad's birthday-so we decided to start making good on our promise of family visits. Brief check-in as things are picking up again in AmyLand - met w/mgmt. on aforementioned project. Submitted final draft so am able to begin scheduling a February's high risk branches to train. Went and saw the marvelous "About Schmidt" last night with mom & dad. For those of you who know my father, this was huge. He doesn't like movies. They are a waste of time. Virtual Insanity

Homecoming
I'll provide a detailed report later, but all is well on the post birth mother reunion front. Got home at 10:30pm Tuesday and my parents were at the house, waiting to hear all the details. Manic Monday
Had an OK weekend, overall. Spent midday with the mocha-rrific DanceWench, then headed to Mousie's for notes on our shooting strategy for the weekend. I'm not as nervous as I would have thought, but perhaps that's because I can focus on this as a production when I start to freak.
