I may have a job! It's temporary at the moment but may go permanent. It's working for a company whose staff travel all over the world (they work with mobile phone companies) and I will be making sure that the travel costs are as low as possible. I've just remembered that I also have job news (at long bloody last). Yesterday I was booked to work a few hours at the country park. I found this odd as they have weekend staff and four hours in the middle of the day isn't really much use to anyone. It involves a 20-mile commute each way, which is more than I normally do, and it's on the most boring stretch of motorway I have ever travelled on - and I'm familiar with the M1 and M6!
