(no subject)
I know, I know, it's been a long time, but I've had nothing much to say since moving! (Note to self: now camera has been found, take pictures of new house.)
In my absence I've had flu for Christmas and then my job was cancelled in time for the New Year. I am however finally using my lightbox so hopefully I will feel happier soon. And the break from work is rather useful too!
We have shiny new windows on our house which are lovely, and we got a shock when we heard how much replacing our soffits and fascias is going to be - there may be some asbestos removal involved.
We still don't have all the furniture here, although I have given Andrew a deadline of Easter to get it moved here.
In other news, Brownies is back, which I am very happy about, as I have no idea what to do with myself when it's not on. And this is what has finally prompted me to post (although I do post statuses on Facebook fairly often): we are doing a night on the British Commonwealth for Commonwealth Day and I am leaning heavily towards Canada. So, to my Canoodian friend(s) and all fans of the red and white, what shall I teach my Brownies about? I was temped to do penguins, but I'm not sure that there are any native to Canada - they all seem to prefer the bottom half of the globe.
