This weekend was a family and friends weekend down in Louisiana.  My friend, Staci has a cabin there, just about 20 minutes past the Arkansas border in a little town called Homer.  The cabin is on Lake Claybourne, I think.  Anyway, she is always trying to get me to plan visits there.  She loves to go, but doesn't go alone.  Its hard to find enough ( Read more... )

I'm back home again, after my trip to Fayetteville. The weekend ended up being alright, although these particular friends try my patience to some extent. Still, once we got there and got settled in, it was fine. After the early eventing last night, we had a slow morning. They just are not good at getting moving. My weekend started on Thursday morning when I loaded up my car and headed to Fayetteville to visit Melissa.  I ended up leaving a little later than I planned, but it worked out fine.  We had lunch at PF Chang's (awesome, as usual) and then did a little retail therapy.  She really needed a day away from work.  And some girl time.
