The clock says 8:30, Kelli and Staci are getting up to go out and do more shopping. They are out the door at 9 am and I am up and showered soon after. After the late night, 8 am arrived quickly. Pretty much as soon as Staci and Kelli cleared out of the hotel room for Black Friday shopping, I was up and at 'em. I traveled to Dallas last week to take care of some Region Gathering business for North Texas Mensa.  I ended up leaving on Sunday afternoon to better take advantage of the time I had down there.  Something I did differently this time was to buy a book on cd to listen to on the way.  That was a great idea ( Read more... )

Or Weekend Update.

My weekend started on Thursday morning when I loaded up my car and headed to Fayetteville to visit Melissa.  I ended up leaving a little later than I planned, but it worked out fine.  We had lunch at PF Chang's (awesome, as usual) and then did a little retail therapy.  She really needed a day away from work.  And some girl time.
