DH got an email from his father Monday.  He was letting DH know that his grandmother had passed away sometime over the weekend.  (Don't get me started on how inappropriate it is to tell someone their family member has died over the internet...)  She lived in a nursing home, so she wasn't alone.  They know when she died, they just didn't bother to ( Read more... )

My grandmother lost her battle with cancer this weekend. She died early Friday morning. She was on her 4th round of cancer, having survived Uterine (Age 31), breast (Age 38 & 39), and colon cancer (Age 61). She was 74.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. It's been a hard week. The funeral was yesterday and we have a regularly scheduled meeting today. My friend who had the motorcycle accident passed away early this morning from heart failure. The stress from multiple surgeries and the accident.

I am so very tired of all the deaths this year.
