Nole lost yesterday. BIZARRE and unforeseen. Completely. He lost to Philipp Kohlschreiber in straights and from what I heard, he was just not there.

And I get a nice surprise this morning. I wake up to see Rafa down a set to Soderling. And now he's almost done two sets to one and could go out.

That's how the Cilic-Del Potro match was to me. That's the only one I watched last night (other than snippets of Jankovic losing spectacularly to Marion Bartoli and bits of Safina's stupidity vs. Cornet. Thank the lords she pulled it out!) 'cos I had to get up early this morning. Good lord I started falling asleep watching it.

The one day I watch ZERO tennis is the day I miss fantasticness in the sport.

Holy haggis, the angry Scot finally wins his first Masters title! I was really surprised it was Andy Murray's first ATP Masters final (yesterday at Cincinnati) but I guess he's been overshadowed by his peers Rafa and Djoko. Rafa lost to Djoko in straights last night in the Cincy semifinal. There went Rafa's chance to win this sixth straight tournament since Hamburg in mid-May. No complaints from this fan though.
